In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a designated unit, coordinating the schedules of nursing staff, and serving as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining processes that comply with regulatory requirements while providing mentorship and support to your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate departmental functions and activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise nursing staff and facilitate their professional development.
  • Establish and execute plans to meet compliance standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets and drive effective change initiatives.
  • Make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Minimum Experience: At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience; Level II candidates must have a minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience.

Preferred Experience: Two years of management experience with supervisory duties; certification in a specialty area is advantageous.

Licensure/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license in Arizona, CPR, and ACLS as required by the department.

Special Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at managing departmental budgets, and capable of leading teams through change.

Supervision: Oversight of other healthcare team members.
