Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team at Springfield Public Schools. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with moderate to severe needs achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with experienced special educators to support a small case load of students, driving academic achievement and promoting positive behavior.
  • Implement effective academic and behavior intervention systems, providing consistent and high expectations for student success.
  • Support student mastery of state, city, and school academic and behavioral standards, leading daily individual and small group tutoring sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
