Job Summary:

The Springfield Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with moderate to severe needs in achieving academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with experienced special educators to support students in achieving academic and behavioral goals.
  • Implement effective academic and behavioral intervention systems to drive student achievement.
  • Provide consistent and high academic and behavioral expectations to students.
  • Support students in mastering state, city, and school academic and behavioral standards.
  • Lead daily individual and small group tutoring sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

  • A high-school diploma or GED.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States.
