Position Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified truck driver to handle transportation duties in the Fairfield, TX area and its surroundings. As a vital part of our logistics team, you will report directly to the Logistics Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct long-distance driving to deliver goods safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication with dispatchers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Inspect and address any mechanical issues with vehicles and trailers prior to departure.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations, including traffic laws and rest period requirements.
  • Possession of a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred.
  • TWIC certification is preferred; however, we are willing to assist applicants in obtaining this and Hazmat certification.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate of $.40 per mile based on odometer readings (higher rates for shorter runs).
  • Tax-free per diem of $40 for breaks taken away from home.
  • Weekend pay at a rate of $.69 per mile, with weekends off except for rare occasions.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including 401K, two weeks of paid vacation, and 80 hours of paid time off.
  • Insurance options including dental, disability, health, vision, and life coverage.
  • Paid training and provision of safety equipment.
  • Access to 2019 Freightliner Coronado Day Cabs.

Additional Compensation:

  • Bonus opportunities for performance and safety.
  • Extra pay for additional stops.
