Position Overview: The truck driver plays a crucial role in our logistics team, reporting directly to the Logistics Director. This position involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods between various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Long-distance driving to deliver products
  • Effective communication and coordination with dispatch personnel
  • Adherence to all traffic regulations
  • Pre-trip inspections to address any mechanical issues with vehicles and trailers

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of safety protocols and traffic laws, including rest period regulations
  • Clean driving history
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Possession of a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred
  • TWIC certification is advantageous, but assistance will be provided for obtaining TWIC and Hazmat certification

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay rate of $.40 per mile, with higher rates for shorter trips
  • Tax-free per diem of $40 for overnight breaks away from home
  • Weekend pay at $.69 per mile, with weekends off except for rare occasions
  • Comprehensive benefits package including 401K, two weeks of paid vacation, and 80 hours of paid time off

  • Paid training and provision of safety equipment
  • Access to modern 2019 Freightliner Coronado Day Cabs

Additional Compensation:
