At Alside, we're looking for a skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining target accounts, driving sales growth, and new business within a specific territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all sales and account planning, forecasting, reporting, and management efforts for assigned accounts within the territory.
- Understand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Acquire new customers to maximize supply center revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service, issue follow-up, and partnership with primary contact points for issue resolution.
- Work closely with supply center and corporate resources to enter and fulfill orders.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the AM sales process and policies.
- Act as a mentor for other sales representatives.
- Successful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experience.
- Solid longevity in past positions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Vehicle that meets our vehicle reimbursement program.
- CRM experience required.
- Microsoft suite proficiency.
- Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and competitive.
- Proven experience in new business selling, upselling, and selling.
- Travel 70% of the week within the region.
- Experience within the building materials industry.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Salesforce preferred.
- Working knowledge of core building material products.
- Preferred experience working with builders and architects.
