Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and sustain high occupancy rates by implementing effective marketing strategies, actively leasing apartments, and ensuring the property is visually appealing and ready for residents.
- Foster a welcoming environment for residents by organizing engaging community events, maintaining open lines of communication, and meeting service expectations.
- Ensure timely rent collection and proactively address any delinquencies.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents, staff, and service providers.
- Contribute significantly to the achievement of all company objectives.
- Build and mentor a team of sales-focused individuals dedicated to resident satisfaction.
- Oversee the administration of property operations, including reporting and month-end tasks.
- Collaborate with project and construction teams during the development phase, ensuring quality and readiness of all units.
- Manage vendor relationships, including processing invoices and obtaining service bids.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of leases, RealPage updates, service requests, and contract documentation.
- Enhance resident retention through effective lease renewal strategies, aiming for increased rental rates.
Qualifications:
- A solid background in multifamily property management is essential, with lease-up experience highly valued.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes while embodying and promoting core values.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial statements.
- Proven track record of leadership and responsibility in on-site project management.
- A proactive approach to accountability and success in achieving goals and enhancing team performance.
- Familiarity with RealPage and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
