Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional - Residential Caregiver to join our team at ACHIEVE. As a Residential Caregiver, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with varying levels of disabilities in our residential homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and assistance to individuals to develop and/or improve independent living skills
- Assist with personal care skills, such as showering, tooth brushing, and toileting
- Administer medications and document according to OPWDD and agency procedure
- Accompany individuals to grocery stores and other stores for on-site training in purchasing
- Transport individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and other events as needed
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED
- Valid driver's license and good driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and not have any lifting restrictions
