Description:
Are you passionate about helping individuals with disabilities achieve their full potential? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others? ACHIEVE is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide training and assistance to individuals with varying levels of disabilities, helping them develop and improve their independent living skills. This may include cooking, housekeeping, laundry skills, grocery shopping, and personal care skills such as showering, tooth brushing, and toileting.
You will also provide training in money management, administer medications, and document progress according to OPWDD and agency procedures. Additionally, you will accompany individuals to grocery stores and other stores for on-site training in purchasing, and transport them to appointments and activities as needed.

Requirements:
A valid driver's license and good driving record acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier.
High School Graduate or GED
Salary: $17.00-18.25/hour (plus $1.00/hour shift differential)
