Surgical Technician

**Job Summary**

Surgical Technicians play a vital role in the healthcare team, assisting physicians during surgical procedures and providing essential support in the operating room and office settings.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist physicians during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
• Prepare patients for surgery, including vital sign collection and charting
• Order and maintain supplies, ensuring a well-stocked operating room
• Assist with clinical patient care, including setting up for procedures and performing tasks as directed by the physician
• Screen patient calls and provide answers or forward to the physician as needed

**Requirements**

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician School or LPN with a current license in the state of practice
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
• Experience preferred, but may be trained on-the-job for recent graduates
