Position Overview

The Senior Vice President of Operations will oversee the Operations team within Aspirion's Aged Accounts Receivable division, spearheading transformation initiatives to align personnel, processes, and technologies with the business unit's financial and operational objectives. Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategic planning for new client implementations and directing workflow assignments.
  • Measuring and reporting performance metrics; coaching team members and facilitating ongoing education.
  • Addressing client concerns and driving problem-solving initiatives.
  • Mentoring and supervising a team of directors to enhance operational performance through a data-driven approach.
  • Building and refining organizational structures to ensure effective spans of control and quality outcomes.
  • Championing change and continuous improvement within the team, focusing on best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Establishing operational processes that deliver effective client solutions based on proven receivables management practices.
  • Collaborating with Product Management and IT to ensure operational success through effective technology integration.
  • Identifying opportunities for process enhancements utilizing Machine Learning technologies.
  • Implementing best practices and maintaining quality and productivity standards across operations.
  • Guiding the team through growth and change while fostering a positive culture and collaboration.
  • Proactively seeking improvements in workflows, efficiency, and quality through operational changes.
  • Promoting Aspirion's values and integrating them into daily operations.
  • Ensuring consistent feedback and performance evaluations for all operational employees.
  • Assessing current staffing needs and collaborating with HR to fulfill open positions.
  • Working with the Learning & Development team to ensure effective onboarding and training programs.
  • Conducting monthly reviews of key performance indicators and operational reports.
  • Assisting in the development of monthly goals and incentive opportunities.
  • Collaborating with peers across Aspirion's service lines to meet client expectations and share best practices.
  • Facilitating regular team meetings to discuss updates and address concerns.
  • Maintaining operational expenses within the approved budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for all team members.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of current information on the company Intranet.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams through corporate transformations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with diverse teams.
  • High energy and passion for healthcare and revenue cycle management.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Experience in presenting information to various audiences and facilitating discussions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Management required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of seven years of leadership experience in operations.
  • Demonstrated management and coaching skills in a healthcare or revenue recovery context.
  • Experience in driving process improvements during periods of growth and automation.
  • Familiarity with hospital EMR/Patient Accounting systems and operational KPIs.
