We are seeking a skilled Utility Worker to join our team at Regal Rexnord. As a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for manually spherical lap inner diameters to planning instructions or drawing requirements using a conventional drill press. You will also deburr parts by breaking sharp edges on all internal and external surfaces using motorized, pneumatic and manual methods.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a conventional drill press per lead's instructions.
- Make necessary machine adjustments, such as simple time and pressure corrections to maintain part target size.
- Use required tools to break sharp edges on various types of products, including files, electric Dremels, pneumatic die grinders, deburring wheels, carbide bits, Scotchbrite, emery cloth, sandpaper and polishing wheels.
- Understand basic machining measurements, necessary for stock removal. Measure parts with a caliper and check threads with thread gauge.
- Follow verbal instruction in order to meet cell objectives.
- Follow written instructions on printed work orders.
- Communicate process information back to the lead for process improvement.
- Safety conscious.
- Team player and contribute towards improving cell processes.
- Able to work in a high-paced active environment.
- Per ITAR requirements, must be a US Person (US Citizen or a Permanent Resident Card Holder).
