Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify strengths and challenges related to patients' diagnoses, illnesses, treatments, and life situations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating crisis intervention, brief and long-term therapies, and grief and bereavement work.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams, providing leadership and representing the clinical social work perspective.
  • Document assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental, hospital, and health system guidelines and standards.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Social Work: Required
  • Three years' experience with clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention and individual and group psychotherapy: Preferred
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of practice: Required
