Job Summary

The Utility Crew Worker will assist in the construction and maintenance of the Utilities Department in relation to domestic water system, roads, erosion control, and refuse management. This role requires manual labor, operating trash trucks, and performing weekly facility recycling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor to assist in the construction and maintenance of the Utilities Department.
  • Assist with weekly trash collection service and operate trash trucks.
  • Complete basic records related to work performed.
  • Inspect assigned work areas and correct or report safety hazards.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools and inspect tools and equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
  • Observe safe work methods and safety practices related to work.
  • May perform landscape duties, including landscape vegetation maintenance.
  • Assist with sponsored functions and work with outside contractors.
Requirements

Qualified candidates will have six months of work experience as a laborer in construction, maintenance work, plumbing, pipefitting, or equipment operation. This is a direct hire position with a full list of benefits provided upon being hired by our client.
