Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers warmly both in person and via phone, providing assistance with product inquiries, pricing, and availability.
  • Address and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction, escalating complex cases to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Gardner White stores to manage overflow calls, assist with administrative tasks as needed, and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Utilize various software platforms and social media channels to input relevant information and respond to inquiries daily.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our furniture offerings, including features, materials, and styles.
  • Stay informed about product inventory, promotions, and sales events to relay accurate information to customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a retail office environment.

Physical Demands:

The employee will frequently be required to stand, walk, and bend.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred but not required: 1 year of experience in customer service or call center.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • A friendly and approachable attitude with a genuine desire to assist others.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of furniture products and industry trends is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in cash handling and/or accounting is a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time role with shifts scheduled based on business needs.

Compensation:

$15 per hour
