Position Overview

As a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at ENGIE, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of our energy metering and control systems. Reporting directly to the Electrical Instrument and Controls Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient operation of our campus-wide systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of operational excellence in instrumentation and controls.
  • Utilize your expertise to configure, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair various instrumentation, including steam, chilled water, natural gas, electric, and hot water systems.
  • Install and maintain network communication equipment, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Oversee the installation of new instrumentation, adhering to established plans and specifications.
  • Keep meticulous records of maintenance and calibration activities, including work orders and inventory updates.
  • Employ calibration tools effectively, such as field communicators, pressure calibrators, and multimeters.
  • Assist in the configuration of meter points and trends within the Data Acquisition System.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support operational needs.
Work Environment

This position requires daily on-site attendance and involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work. You will be exposed to various weather conditions and must be able to handle multiple tasks with precision and accuracy. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a 25 lb tool bag, climb ladders, and work in diverse environments.
