Position Overview: This is a HYBRID role, requiring presence in the office one day per week. Candidates should be local or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess valid US work authorization (US Citizen or Green Card). This is a long-term contract position on a W2 basis; no C2C or third-party candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project coordination, status updates, and the overall stability of project-related activities.
- Manage multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Follow established project management methodologies to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor daily project plans and resource assignments, addressing any functional or quality issues as they arise.
- Track significant project milestones and adapt plans to meet evolving project needs.
- Lead projects from initiation through to final acceptance and implementation.
- Provide mentorship to other project leaders and contribute to the training and development of team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, coupled with at least 7 years of IT leadership experience, including 4 years managing multiple concurrent project teams.
- Certification as a Scrum Master is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with keen analytical and organizational skills.
- Deep understanding of project management principles, business processes, and success metrics.
- Proven ability to manage resources effectively to achieve project goals across multiple initiatives.
- Advanced negotiation skills and experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management.
- Demonstrated capability to manage all phases of project work from inception to completion, with strategic thinking skills.
