Scrum Master, Lead Associate

The Scrum Master is a key role in our team, responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing the role of Scrum Master, utilizing SAFe methodologies or similar Agile servant leadership roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a servant leader to the Scrum Team by embracing SAFe Core Values, applying SAFe Principles, implementing SAFe practices, and utilizing ScrumXP rules
- Helping the scrum team achieve in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Helping team focus on daily and Sprint Goals in the context of current PI Objectives. Guiding team in establishing normalized story points for estimating user stories
- Facilitating all team meetings, including the daily stand-up, Sprint Planning, Team Demos, and Retrospectives. Attending and representing the team in the Scrum of Scrums meetings.
- Collaborating with other impacted teams (e.g. Other Scrum or Product teams, Product Owners, Stakeholders) to ensure alignment between priorities, scope, and all deployment-related activities
- Assisting the team in preparation for ART activities
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience in software development, preferably in a Java/open-source technical environment.
