Job Summary

PipeView Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the inspection, cleaning, and repairing of storm and sewer pipes using state-of-the-art vacuum trucks and robotic cameras.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the morning pre-job preparation and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Support the setup and breakdown of each area to be cleaned and inspected, working closely with Vacuum Truck Operators and CCTV Operators.
  • Measure distances between access points and pipe diameters using specialized tools.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and ensure the vehicle is fueled for next day operation.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor, including maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone.
