This role focuses on business development in support of a major defense command and is contingent upon project award.

As a key contributor, you will provide measurement and signature intelligence assistance for the formulation of planning and future capability documents, while also supporting collection initiatives to create a comprehensive all-source intelligence overview. You will collaborate with national agencies and service counterparts to ensure that requirements and priorities are effectively communicated and fulfilled.

Qualifications:

JOURNEYMAN LEVEL: A Journeyman level position requires 3 to 10 years of relevant experience along with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. This level typically involves performing all functional responsibilities independently.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI required.

Physical Requirements: The position necessitates extensive use of computing systems, including PCs or laptops. Duties may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as well as typing and reading from screens. Sufficient mobility is required for bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling to complete daily tasks efficiently. There may be a need for climbing and working in confined spaces. The ability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended durations is essential. Work conditions may vary, including exposure to noise and temperature extremes. Lifting and transporting equipment up to 50 pounds may be necessary, and moderate to long-distance walking could be required due to parking and location constraints. Occasional travel to other sites may also be necessary.

Work Environment: The role is primarily office-based, which may include cubicle settings (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, varied lighting). Effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and management at all levels is essential. The work environment is generally safe, with limited travel requirements of up to 10%.

Equipment Proficiency: Proficiency in operating office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, telephones, and other relevant tools is required.

Attendance Expectations: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is crucial for meeting deadlines and participating in meetings. Punctuality and consistent attendance are vital. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate urgent mission requirements.

Additional Responsibilities: Professional conduct is expected at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are required for the position, ensuring no safety risks to employees or others. Maintaining a positive work environment through professional behavior and communication is crucial. Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary, and travel to client locations may be required to support projects. This could involve air travel. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, seat belts must be worn, and cellular devices should not be used while driving. A drug test and background check are mandatory. Professional behavior that enhances productivity and fosters teamwork is expected. The ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels is essential. Willingness to travel as needed is required.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across various locations. Individual compensation within this range is determined by work location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
