Position Overview

Role Summary:

As the Senior Director of Apartment Management, you will be responsible for the oversight of our portfolio of luxury residential units, which currently encompasses 1,000 units. Your leadership will guide all facets of property operations, including marketing, leasing, maintenance, technology integration, and community engagement. Your contributions will ensure our residents experience a superior lifestyle, characterized by seamless technology and enriching community activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Oversight: Manage all operational aspects of the properties, including leasing, maintenance, cleaning, capital planning, and project execution, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Facilitate regular individual meetings, team gatherings, and training sessions to foster team development.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the team to meet net operating income (NOI) and budget objectives. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including variance analysis and reforecasting, as well as the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Community Development: Spearhead initiatives that cultivate genuine relationships among residents, fostering vibrant community living.
  • Enhancing Resident Experience: Drive continuous improvements in resident lifestyle through innovative services and solutions.
  • Marketing Strategy: Formulate and implement marketing strategies and pricing models to maintain competitive positioning and optimize occupancy rates.
  • Community Involvement: Lead initiatives that support local communities, reinforcing our commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years in multi-family housing, with at least three years in a leadership role overseeing multiple sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of fair housing laws, local and federal regulations, new construction lease-up processes, and project management.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets effectively, drive profitability, and make strategic decisions.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and ongoing improvement.
  • Certifications such as CRM, CPM, or CAM are preferred.
  • Experience with Rent Manager is advantageous.
