Job Overview

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will support product and project teams by creating, integrating, and delivering task-oriented activities within a comprehensive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) utilizing Microsoft Project and Milestone Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed IMS encompassing all critical activities essential for the success of the teams.
  • Present IMS data clearly and concisely, adhering to recognized schedule management techniques and processes.
  • Facilitate schedule status reviews and update meetings for team leads.
  • Conduct IMS health checks and perform what-if analyses using Government-approved software as requested by team leads.
  • Prepare and present information related to the IMS during regular meetings, creating presentation materials using Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of the requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, or an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 13 years of experience including at least 9 years in a specialized role.
  • At least 15 years of experience in scheduling, with a minimum of 2 years in Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) Acquisition Category (ACAT I/II) programs.
  • Specialized experience in Project Management, Business Management/Administration, or related fields.
  • A minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience as a program scheduler managing complex government or commercial engineering programs, preferably in ground combat vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in project management/scheduling software suites such as Microsoft Project, KIDASA Milestone Professional, Oracle Primavera, or Barbecana Full Monte, including experience with Monte Carlo simulation tools (e.g., @RISK).

The candidate should demonstrate:

  • Active participation in process teams to formulate integrated project plans and represent activities in the form of an integrated schedule.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on complex projects.
  • Understanding of participatory leadership techniques and management fundamentals in developing and managing integrated project schedules.
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements, budgets, and timelines, translating them into complex integrated project schedules.
  • Competency in current schedule development tools and techniques, ensuring schedules are complete and technically sound.
