Job Description

The successful candidate for Project Manager will possess:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience
  • 1+ years of project management experience with full-service general contractor
  • Strong background in Commercial/Industrial/Automotive Construction is preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and direction on commercial construction projects
  • Monitoring and controlling construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
  • Working with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities, and assign tasks
  • Coordinating the preparation of the schedule and long-term planning
  • Implementing, monitoring, updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
  • Managing financial aspects of contracts: reviewing and approving budgets, cost reports, rental equipment, and expenses
  • Performing the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown, and Monthly Reports
  • Managing subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades, and payments
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and secure job site environment
  • Reviewing and approving drawings and samples prior to submittal
  • Training and developing the Project team and scheduling project resources
