Job Title: Enterprise Account Manager - SLED/Public Sector

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to join our team at InterVision Systems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling technical solutions to public sector clients in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.

About the Role

This is a hunter sales role focused on obtaining new logos in the State, Local Government, and Education market. You will be working closely with our team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, constructively present technology solutions, and close business with executives and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and client acquisition targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with our technical teams to stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and solutions
  • Utilize professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision-making managers at targeted customers
  • Perform effective account planning with an extended team calling at all levels within the client's organization and managing partner relationships
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the high technology or related industry
  • Knowledge of the Government acquisition processes desirable (RFI, RFO, RFP)
  • Experience selling professional IT consulting services and managed or cloud technology services or experience in a similar industry
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Experience with managing longer sales cycle opportunities
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to customers
