Key Responsibilities:

As the Executive Pastry Manager at Brasswood Bar + Kitchen, you will oversee the strategic planning and production of our pastry department, ensuring seamless execution across our Brasswood Bar + Bakery, Brasswood Bar + Kitchen, and Brasswood Events locations.

Manage daily pastry operations, schedule support staff, and maintain minimal production gaps.

Train, mentor, and discipline pastry staff while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Develop and implement menus, maintain product knowledge, and ensure quality service and plating.

Manage special requests and control food and labor costs associated with the department.

Maintain a clean and organized pastry work area and adhere to all safety and handbook procedures.

Position Requirements:

Five + years of previous experience in Bakery and/or Restaurant required.

Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry, chocolate work, and baking techniques.

Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and related processes.

High level of professionalism and strong work ethic.

Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Time management strengths with the ability to multi-task.

Minimum of high school diploma. Culinary degrees are a plus, but not required.

Proven track record of effectively leading and managing others.
