Job Summary

The Director of Pricing and Contracting Strategy will be responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term pricing and contracting strategies for a portfolio of products at GlaxoSmithKline.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the company's overall strategic direction aligns with the needs of key customers, including payors, PBMs, and healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading and presenting complex analytic projects, as well as experience in navigating the payer, provider, and legislative landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing and contracting strategies for a portfolio of products
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with key customer needs
  • Lead and present complex analytic projects to inform business decisions
  • Navigate the payer, provider, and legislative landscape to ensure compliance and optimal business outcomes

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in navigating the payer, provider, and legislative landscape
  • Strong background in leading and presenting complex analytic projects
  • Experience working with teams to develop payer and segment-specific market insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience working with matrixed teams in contract approval processes
  • Understanding of corporate finance fundamentals and market access business dynamics
