Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to oversee clinical operations for our Raleigh and Fayetteville locations. The successful candidate will have experience with clinical and administrative operations within a medical office and will be responsible for providing clinical care as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor operational/office policy and procedures.
  • Ensure office processes are efficient and support the care center practice and enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze daily office operations and utilization of resources.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and morale.
  • Interact with regional manager to facilitate office operations to meet company objectives.
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings.
  • Perform responsibilities of a medical assistant.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a physician office including working knowledge of managed care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement requirements.
  • LPN or LVN preferred.
  • For the Carelon Health business unit, both a Medical Assistant Certification and satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test are required.

Work Environment

We operate in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
