At Macalester College, we are seeking an experienced AV Technology Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional technology services to our students, faculty, and staff. As a key member of our Support Services team, you will be responsible for managing our technology-equipped classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and vision for technology-equipped spaces in partnership with campus constituents.
  • Develop and continuously improve classroom and conference room build recommendations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and plan, manage, and track AV replacement cycle work and budget.
  • Provide troubleshooting, repair, and testing on technology-equipped spaces.
  • Coordinate projects for recurring and new computing and AV initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3-5 years experience leading a team in a technical support or customer service environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of event space technology and experience planning and managing a budget.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and plan and manage several builds at once.
