Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop technical solutions for commercial clients, including voice/data telecommunications cabling infrastructure, outside plant infrastructure, audio/visual systems, and security systems.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documents, including equipment specifications and design standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry design standards, technologies, and best practices to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in low-voltage systems design, with a focus on commercial buildings.
  • Strong technical knowledge of design standards, including RCDD, TIA/EIA, CPTED, CPP, PSP, NEC, and NFPA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and solutions, with a focus on customer satisfaction and project success.
  • RCDD certification and industry-recognized certifications a plus.
