Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Engineer to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your expertise in ServiceNow CMDB to design and implement solutions for capturing, storing, and managing configuration data.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and implement CMDB policies and procedures, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate CMDB with other IT systems and tools, ensuring data synchronization and automation.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB reports and dashboards to provide critical insights into the IT environment, support informed decision-making, and measure CMDB health through Compliance, Correctness, and Completeness metrics.
  • Lead and mentor team members in best practices for CMDB management and utilization.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and overseeing ServiceNow discovery.
  • Experience providing technical direction to project teams preferred.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage, etc. preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following technical skills: Foundational IT Infrastructure, Operating Systems, Software, Knowledge of agile methodologies.
