Role Overview
A senior sales executive opportunity exists at Thermo Fisher Scientific to lead the sales of consumable and diagnostic lab supplies and instrumentation within a defined territory. As a medical territory manager, you will maintain effective customer relationships, develop opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assure market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead your territory to ensure effective customer relationships with physicians, hospitals, lab contacts, retail contacts, and other ancillary medical professionals within assigned territory.
- Use available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with cross-functional teams of suppliers and internal resources.
- Manage the strategic direction for the territory; develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business with customers; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in sciences.
- 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical sales, lab, science, or healthcare industry, or proven experience.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
