Position Overview: This role is currently open for placement, meaning that specific campus, grade level, and subject assignments will be determined based on institutional needs. Assignments may be at any of our secondary education facilities.

About the Role: The educator serves as the primary instructional leader within their classroom, holding direct accountability for enhancing student outcomes and fostering an outstanding educational experience. The instructor plays a pivotal role in advancing the educational mission by crafting rigorous, engaging, and culturally relevant instruction that equips students for various post-secondary pathways while aligning with our academic framework.

The educator is responsible for planning lessons, organizing educational activities, thoroughly preparing for instruction, and ensuring equitable grading practices. They must implement all necessary accommodations and modifications for students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), 504 Plans, Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs), and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions, honoring the unique needs of each student.

Community Engagement: The instructor will cultivate a culturally responsive classroom environment that is both nurturing and demanding, adhering to school-wide expectations, managing foundational behaviors, and proactively engaging with families.

Collaborative Responsibilities: Educators are expected to contribute to the broader school community through active participation in daily duties, including arrival and dismissal supervision, lunch monitoring, and transitional oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
  • Spanish bilingualism (preferred).
  • Ability to meet all state and federal educational guidelines.
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience (highly preferred).
