We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Ascension Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.
- Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, as well as patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required.
- Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition Compact State obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
