Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor

Join the State of Florida team as a Senior Registered Nurse Supervisor and take on a challenging role in providing quality care to our veteran residents.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for supervising and directing nursing personnel on an assigned shift, ensuring that residents receive total nursing care. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing initial and ongoing assessment of the resident population
  • Performing assigned duties, including administration of medications and treatments per MD order
  • Monitoring and providing interventions to meet the needs of the resident
  • Completing accurate clinical documentation reflective of resident's status
  • Supervising and guiding RN, LPN, CNA, and other Allied Health Care Professionals
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Florida Registered Nursing license
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as required
  • Successful completion of the employment screening process, including a national background investigation and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous long-term care experience with a geriatric population, supervisory experience working in a long-term care facility, valid CPR certification, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are highly desirable.
