Job Summary:

The Nursing Practicum Coordinator is responsible for working with students, Academic Leadership, and Faculty to plan, organize, supervise, and ensure students' success in each program's practice experience requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement practice experience plans for nursing students
  • Collaborate with Program Chairs and faculty to ensure practice experience requirements are met
  • Provide support and guidance to students throughout the practice experience process
  • Update and maintain practice experience documents, policies, and procedures
  • Work with third-party clinical scheduling programs to facilitate student attendance
  • Ensure accurate student records are maintained in Typhon and the LMS

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, doctoral preferred
  • Preferred experience in academia, clinical nursing, leadership, or administration
  • Unencumbered Registered Nursing License

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions:
