POSITION SUMMARY

The Service Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the service department's daily functions, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and in compliance with established protocols. This role involves managing a team of technicians and administrative personnel, while also engaging with clients to address their service requirements and collaborating with suppliers to coordinate the necessary materials and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all service activities, ensuring the upkeep of the facility and the maintenance of service vehicles.
  • Coordinate the safe and effective operations of all service staff.
  • Manage the service office and personnel to guarantee that internal processes are carried out accurately and promptly.

  • Oversee the management of the Full Maintenance equipment portfolio.
  • Ensure service operations yield profitable outcomes.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

A robust background in the repair of forklifts or heavy machinery is essential, along with a proven track record in personnel management and professional ethics. Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office, is required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. Certifications related to industrial equipment are advantageous. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain a forklift certification.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role demands the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, necessitating a proactive approach to work. Physical stamina is required for various tasks, including lifting and maneuvering equipment. The position is situated in a maintenance setting, which may involve exposure to mechanical components and other operational hazards, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
