Key Responsibilities:
- Manages essential documentation through payroll and benefits providers to guarantee precise record maintenance and appropriate deductions.
- Provides support by addressing employee inquiries and requests.
- Initiates online background checks and aids in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Reviews and reconciles benefits statements for accuracy.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR initiatives, recommending necessary corrective measures.
- Aids in the recruitment and selection process, tracking candidate progress in the HR information system and sending follow-up communications post-recruitment.
- Organizes meetings and interviews as required.
- Performs additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; however, equivalent professional experience may be accepted in place of formal education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels, external customers, government entities, contractors, and suppliers.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Familiarity with human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
