Position Overview

The Ladders is in search of a Senior Financial Modeling Analyst to enhance our Finance and Planning team.

This role is pivotal in executing financial modeling and analytical tasks that support strategic decision-making processes, including comprehensive reporting to the Finance Director.

Assist the Finance Director in implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the business objectives set forth by our leadership team.

To excel in this position, a Senior Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the long-term strategic planning of the organization, including business planning and multi-year financial projections.
  • Oversee and manage key deadlines while ensuring the highest standards of reporting accuracy and quality control.
  • Deliver data-driven insights that facilitate informed decision-making and shape strategic direction through financial model development and reporting.
  • Address critical business inquiries, design analyses to illustrate financial implications, and create related financial scenario analyses.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support in-depth investigations into strategic matters to enhance understanding of risks and opportunities within the business.
  • Prepare presentations that aid executive decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership on planning, reporting, and analytical initiatives.
  • Support deal negotiations with partners through detailed financial analysis.
  • Provide analytical support, dashboard reports, business solutions, and special project development as needed.
  • Meet established deadlines consistently.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with Procurement, Accounting, and other functional teams to ensure optimal support for assigned deliverables.
  • Offer insightful analyses to the Finance team, leadership, and other functional areas as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and complex financial modeling techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and a critical thinker.
  • Ability to adapt to change, work collaboratively, and maintain a detail-oriented and organized approach.
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
