Job Summary:

The HVAC Operations Manager will oversee the installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories, ensuring that work meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role will supervise subcontractors and employees, conduct quality-control checks, and perform service, maintenance, and installation work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Manage Subcontractors: Lead a team of subcontractors and employees, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to verify readiness for installation, ensure compliance with quality standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate installation dates with the scheduling team, ensure job readiness, and verify completion of assigned work.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with builders, subcontractors, and office staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Administrative Tasks: Review subcontractor invoices, approve work completion, and complete paperwork for billable change orders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to construction sites, equipment, and varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a field supervisor in residential new construction or related experience.
  • Education: Completed college coursework.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Majority of time spent in a field environment, with regular exposure to construction sites, equipment, and varying weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to construction sites, equipment, and varying weather conditions.
