Position Overview:
The Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team at TEKsystems is in search of a Technical Lead to engage in development initiatives across various Salesforce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Independently construct and unit test components while collaborating with Dev/QA teams to address code and configuration-related issues.
  • Lead a development team, providing guidance and mentorship as necessary.
  • Direct the development team in researching and documenting findings on new Salesforce functionalities or reviewing existing platform challenges.
  • Facilitate Proof of Concepts with architects to assess and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and methodologies.

Essential Duties:
The role will require proficiency in Core Salesforce capabilities, including:

  • Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security measures.
  • Engage in agile methodologies and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, and code reviews while providing leadership to team members.
  • Contribute to enhancements in DevOps processes such as pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.
  • Comprehend enterprise cross-system integration concepts, including event processing and API interactions.
  • Conduct evaluations of products and solutions, including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings, by creating prototypes or Proof of Concepts to clarify and design towards business objectives.
  • Design, document, and develop best practices and development patterns for the COE technical delivery organization.
  • Mentor technical delivery personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible technical and business experience in developing enterprise-level applications, including full-stack development experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a scrum team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential for success in this role.
  • Knowledge of the SFDC Data Model across various clouds/products and strong data modeling experience.
  • Expertise in branching and code merging practices in GIT (or equivalent) repositories.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates may also have:

  • Salesforce Certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer (1 and 2), Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Experience in evaluating, deploying, and upgrading Salesforce managed packages.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, etc.).
  • Experience with other Salesforce products like MuleSoft and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
