We are in search of a Senior Consultant for Energy and Climate Equity who possesses the expertise to convert societal risks into equitable market opportunities. This role is integral to our Markets & Risk team in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with DNV's Equity Services team to refine and achieve the Markets & Risk team's mission of delivering consulting services that help clients meet their energy equity objectives while identifying growth opportunities in this sector.
  • Lead project teams in executing studies and analyses, serving as a subject matter expert. Responsibilities may include project management, client engagement, proposal development, and ensuring adherence to equity best practices.
  • Facilitate community engagement processes with diverse stakeholders, including community organizations, environmental advocates, and regulatory bodies. This includes crafting and implementing effective engagement strategies, managing communications, and organizing community meetings.
  • Conduct both primary and secondary research, employing methods such as interviews, focus groups, and literature reviews to gather insights.
  • Analyze climate and equity-related risks, focusing on the equitable distribution of benefits from utility programs and community benefit plans.
  • Work collaboratively with DNV teams across various practice areas to devise innovative strategies that enhance equitable access to decarbonized energy systems.
  • Engage with clients to understand their decarbonization and equity goals, translating their challenges into actionable opportunities.
  • Foster strong interpersonal relationships, providing guidance and support to colleagues while collaborating with external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality work products that are accessible to diverse audiences, leveraging DNV's extensive network of analysts and consultants.
  • Act as a thought leader and representative for DNV at industry conferences, promoting our equity-related services.
  • Create insightful thought leadership materials that can assist stakeholders in developing comprehensive solutions for at-risk communities.

What is Required:
