The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing food orders in accordance with the standards established by the management team. Daily tasks include setting up and stocking workstations with essential supplies. The cook will also be tasked with cooking menu items while upholding safety and sanitation standards in collaboration with fellow kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking in line with recipes/menu.
  • Cook and present high-quality menu items promptly.
  • Test food items to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
  • Safely and responsibly operate kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces and storage containers.
  • Work across multiple stations in the kitchen.
  • This position requires the ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking are necessary, along with maintaining a professional appearance in a clean uniform.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Food Safety Certification is necessary.
  • Experience in pizza making, particularly in dough stretching.
  • Knowledge of knife skills, various cuts, and basic cooking techniques.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and outgoing demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
