The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing food orders in accordance with the standards established by the management team. Daily tasks include setting up and stocking workstations with essential supplies. The cook will also be tasked with preparing menu items while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols in collaboration with fellow kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking based on recipes/menu specifications.
  • Cook and present high-quality menu items promptly.
  • Test dishes to ensure they are prepared correctly and at the right temperature.
  • Safely and responsibly operate kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces and storage containers.
  • Work across multiple stations in the kitchen.
  • This position requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, along with maintaining a professional appearance in a clean uniform, are also necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Food Safety Certification is necessary.
  • Experience in pizza preparation, including dough stretching, is essential.
  • Knowledge of knife skills, various cuts, and basic cooking techniques is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • A positive attitude and an outgoing personality are preferred.
