Clinical Laboratory Specialist

About the RoleAs a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in conducting various technical procedures in the Emergency Department, Anesthesiology, and Core Laboratory. Your primary duties will include:
- Specimen processing and method development
- Testing across multiple areas, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, immunoassay, and blood gases
- Maintaining laboratory instruments and performing quality control, calibration, reagent preparation, and data entry
Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-volume chemistry and hematology, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as pipetting and computer data entry. A valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license and a Bachelor's Degree are also required. Two years of recent experience in a high-volume laboratory setting is preferred.
