Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts to meet the demands of our guests and restaurants.
- Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
- Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, ensuring timely preparation and presentation.
- Maintain accurate food logs and inventory records to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, presentation, and plating techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff.
