Position Overview: The Facilities Maintenance Lead will play a pivotal role within our engineering and facilities division. This position involves overseeing a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring the efficient operation of our automated systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, maximizing equipment performance, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance technicians in executing both preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems.
  • Design and implement preventative maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges associated with automated systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement of necessary components.
  • Cultivate a safe working environment for the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, operations, and safety, to promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within automated environments.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting PLC systems and working with electrical systems up to 480V.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and team management experience.
  • Skilled in utilizing electrical and mechanical testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with CMMS is advantageous.
