Multimedia Support Technician (2 Positions)

Position Overview:

Deliver advanced technical assistance for audiovisual systems in both educational and non-academic environments. This role encompasses support for equipment such as control systems (commonly AMX), computing devices, audio/video switchers, amplifiers, mixers, projectors, and display units. Collaborate with the Learning Spaces team to guarantee the seamless functionality of audiovisual systems in general-purpose classrooms. This position will assist the Learning Spaces support and construction teams throughout all stages of the design, installation, and maintenance of media-rich environments.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in information technology and/or audiovisual support and design; required.
  • Proven expertise in audiovisual technologies and peripherals; required.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networking; required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; required.
  • Strong organizational abilities; required.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management; preferred.
  • Certification in CTS or CTS-I; preferred.
  • Experience with AMX Programming; preferred.
  • Knowledge of D-Tools or similar software; preferred.

Compensation: $51,300/year minimum

Location: This position is based in Lincoln, NE.
