Summary

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Multimedia Production Specialist at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE.

The Multimedia Production Specialist will report directly to the Technical Services Manager/Supervisors and will be primarily engaged in supporting all technical elements of production at Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater.

This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where each day presents new challenges. You will gain exposure to a unique intersection of IT and audiovisual technology while enjoying a variety of events including concerts, sports, and other gatherings.

Essential Duties

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up stage components for events, including hanging and focusing lights and sound systems.
  • Operating sound consoles and audio software.
  • Managing lighting boards and Musco/Lutron house lighting systems.
  • Controlling Daktronics scoreboards, ribbon displays, graphics, and video switchers as required.
  • Utilizing IPTV software and assisting with TV control hardware as necessary.
  • Overseeing cable management and organization.

Skills Required

This position necessitates the ability to:

  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in all procedures, techniques, machinery, materials, equipment, and tools utilized in technical construction and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the operation of lighting, sound, audiovisual, and rigging equipment used within the venue.
  • Foster effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered during the course of work.
  • Interpret and understand blueprints, drawings, and related materials.
  • Follow both oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in both forms.
  • Adapt to varying situations and maintain flexibility.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, which include climbing, lifting, and carrying.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
  • Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED certificate, along with relevant professional experience, is required for this position.
