Job Summary

AERMOR LLC is seeking a highly skilled Security Assistant to administer United States Air Force (USAF) unit-level security policies and procedures. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of senior staff, commanders, and directors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure implementation and administration of information security policies and procedures supporting the conduct of AFOTEC Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAPs) OT&E.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral data in support of US military operations.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
  • Coordinate, perform, and manage a variety of tasks and activities in direct support of organizational commanders, directors, and senior leaders.
  • Track and manage training program for the unit, track completion and required training.
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Manage processes and activities to support organizational communications, including correspondence preparation, distribution, suspense tracking, and workflow management.
  • Perform various administrative functions in support of military and civilian leaders, including calendar management, meeting support, and customer services duties.
  • Ensure communications comply with standards for style and format.
  • Assist with organizational personnel and manpower programs, such as personnel rosters, evaluations, decorations, supervisory data, orders, in-/out-processing personnel, and manpower authorization requests.
  • Provide executive administrative support to senior leaders coordinating itineraries.
  • Coordinate with Protocol and assists with Distinguished Visitor (DV) support and events.
Requirements
  • Knowledge in the use of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Knowledge in the use of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE)
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI), Air Force Instructions (AFI), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions (CJCSI) governing Special Programs and collateral accesses.
  • Familiar with security incident processing procedures
  • At least one year experience as a Security Manager, Security Assistant, or Security Specialist at the unit level or above.
  • Ability to multitask among changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in authoring and presenting program solution-related documents.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.
Education

Bachelor's degree with 2 – 4 years of experience as a DoD security manager using DISS. 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Associate degree plus 2 years' work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
