DevOps Architect Role

About the Position:
This Contract role with Lorven Technologies requires a skilled DevOps Architect to oversee On-premises and Cloud Infrastructure administration. As part of our Hybrid Team, you'll work from Charlotte, NC, three days a week while maintaining flexibility for remote collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain infrastructure integrity through troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades on various environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod)
  • Provide day-to-day operational support by responding to incidents, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support software development teams in deployments, rollbacks, application verification, smoke testing, and production tasks as necessary.
  • Collaborate with different teams and support groups to resolve problems related to software, applications, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and cloud services.
  • Maintain DevOps tools and scripts across multiple environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod) on premises & Red Hat cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure regular communication of project status to both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Requirements:
To excel in this position, you should have:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Jenkins (CI), GitHub, Artifactory, Sonarqube, XLR/XLD technologies on AWS environments
  • Able to upgrade these products effectively
  • Hands-on experience in assisting application or DevOps teams with build or deploy issue troubleshooting
  • Familiarity working within Agile environments
